How do you respond to the claim: “All religions are the same, they just use different symbols”?
Dr. Martha Reineke discusses her claim that all religions are distinctively not the same. She finds value in the differences in religion, and to paint over these differences negates their true meaning. While Reineke does say that we can look for patterns common to religious systems, but that this eliminates the characteristics of diversity and uniqueness that enrich our study.
