Would people be religious if they were never going to die?
Dr. Ninian Smart discusses whether people would be religious if they were never going to die. Dr. Smart states that the meaning of death goes deeply into people’s religious feelings. He adds that dying is not a dominant subject in all religions, but says for some people death is of great concern. Speculation about what happens when we die can actually be selfish self-concern.
