Art History Visual Resources Collection
The Mutrux Visual Resources Collection (VRC) is a visual teaching resource for the Art History Program. Primarily illustrating the history of art and architecture, this nascent digital image collection is available to the Fairfield University community for unlimited non-commercial uses. The collection covers a wide range of time periods and geographic areas and represents architecture, painting, sculpture, minor arts and photography. This collection is used in conjunction with the University's subscription to ARTstor, an online repository of over 1,400,000 digital images, for the daily teaching of art history. This collection will continue to grow as licensed and digitized images are regularly added. The Visual Resources Curator is Carey Mack Weber. Questions or inquiries concerning this collection should be addressed to her at cweber@fairfield.edu.
