Description
Rev. William E. Fitzgerald, S.J. in his sermon during the Baccalaureate Exercises told the graduates, "To face the world with hope of true success one must have an undaunted faith in the strong living God."
Notes
Baccalaureate Exercises took place in the evening at Sacred Heart Church in Bridgeport. This picture is one of a series of photographs taken during Fairfield University's First Commencement in June 1951.
