Governor John Davis Lodge is assisted by Rev. James H. Dolan, S.J., in conferring four doctor of law degrees to the honorary degree recipients at Commencement 1951.
Notes
This picture is one of a series of photographs taken during Fairfield University's First Commencement in June 1951. Of the 210 students who recieved diplomas, 2 graduated summa cum laude, 5 magna cum laude, and 33 cum laude.
