Facilitators:
Gita Rajan is Professor of English and a Senior Research fellow at the Center for Faith and Public Life. Rajan has published widely in gender and feminist studies, with an emphasis on South Asia. She was an Andrew Mellon Fellow at U Penn, a Paul Mellon Fellow at Yale University, and a Visiting Endowed Chair at Hamilton College in Women’s Studies. Her most recent edited work is Gender Advocacy in South Asia, due out from Routledge Press in Fall 2012.
Vicky Banks grew up in the UK and attended Cambridge University, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Theology and Religious Studies. She also has a Masters degree in Public Services Management from the University of Birmingham. Since moving to Boston with her husband in September 2010, she has worked for All Girls Allowed as Volunteer Coordinator and then as Director of Outreach, with primary responsibility for engaging students in the organization’s mission.
