Book description: The Palatine East Series. This, the second of three volumes on the Palatine East Excavations, presents inscriptions, not in situ wall paintings and mosaics, coins, objects of ivory and bone, glass, sculpture, terracotta, metalwork, and human remains recovered from the site. It follows Vol. I, by Eric Hostetter and J. Rasmus Brandt, on the history, stratigraphy, architecture, in situ mosaics and wall painting, brick stamps, and recording and dating methodologies. The third and final volume, by Theodore Pena, will present the pottery and lamps.
