Abstract

Examines the relationship between news media use and voting behavior, and the role of the media as a major information source in election campaigns. Media used by newspaper users to reinforce political attitudes; How television news affects voter attitude; Question of whether a citizen's reliance on a particular news medium for election campaign information is related to whether they voted in that election.
