Description
Fairfield University students move boxes into place to construct "Cardboard City," an event to raise awareness of the plight of the homeless in the United States. But students are also aware of local issues. Senior Jean Lindsay notes, "Fairfield County is a county of extremes - poverty and wealth. The purpose of the Cardboard City is to remind people of the homelessness in our own area."
