Rev. John Coleman first discusses the challenges for Catholic theology at large, which he believes relate to becoming a world church and, as a world church, to approach issues of globalization. He then speaks about the central issues to the Catholic Church which he describes as: the dialogue between first-world and third-world theology, feminist theology, and the appropriate enculturation of Catholicism. He then discusses his belief that Americans are making contributions to the Catholic Church at large with regards to women in the church and feminist theology.
