Description
This is the construction site of the soon-to-be-built Nyselius Library.
Notes
Groundbreaking for a new library building began in 1967. The contractor was E&F Construction Company, and the architect was the firm of Eggers & Higgins. With construction completed, the library was open to students in September 1968. It featured a smoking area, two typing rooms, and the school's first full-time reference librarian. The library was officially named the Nyselius Library in 1971 in honor of benefactors Gustav and Dagmar Nyselius. Image date is approximate.
