Description
Cardboard City was an event sponsored on campus by the Coalition for a Better World in 1988, 1989, and 1990. Approximately twenty-five students participated in this event in 1990, which consisted of a 36-hour vigil. Fifteen of the students slept outside on Palm Sunday night wrapped in blankets donated by other students. The event was designed to promote awareness of the plight of the homeless.
