Charles McCullough stands next to the Dean of Freshman, Rev. Laurence C. Langguth, S.J., on the first day of registration in Xavier Hall in September 1947.
Notes
This picture was sent to us for digitization by Fairfield alumni Charles McCullough, M.D. who writes: "Following my enrollment I stayed on to help Father Langguth sign up others of the first class which was graduated in 1951. This picture appeared in at least one of the two local newspapers of the time." Dr. McCullough took a year off from his studies for military service and graduated with the class of 1952.
