Undergraduate Journal of Global Citizenship
Abstract
Climate, Community, and Culture: A collection of articles centered on key questions surrounding how humanity will contend, both tangibly and psychologically, with climate change in and beyond the 21st century. These articles are the work of members of the Environmental Future(s) Initiative (EFI), a group of students and faculty at Georgetown University dedicated to expanding the latitude for undergraduate students to engage with global environmental challenges. In May 2016, three students and one faculty member of the EFI attended the Second United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA II) in Nairobi, Kenya in order to observe and participate in the conference’s proceedings. The ideas and inspirations that those members of the EFI brought back with them formed the core of this series of articles.
