Ingrid Stellmacher is CEO and President of Le Menach Foundation, a conflict resolution and peace building non-profit, working for the equal inclusion of women in decision making processes and faith based relations, and creator of the Mary Initiative. She is on the Board of IDE UK, a social enterprise creating sustainable livelihoods for the rural poor operational in eleven countries, a Board member of Montage Initiative, a human service agency working with women in India to alleviate poverty through business, advisor to the Muslim College in Cambridge in the UK on the Curriculum Cohesion and trustee of the Council of Christians and Jews in the UK.

This session presents a unique approach to cross-cultural conflict resolution and gender issues in faith based relations. An understanding of the significance of Mary, though not exclusively, serves as a bridge between Islam and Christianity.
