Description

This leather bound book gives a room by room description of the architectural features and furniture of Hearthstone Hall, the former residence of Mr. and Mrs. Walter B. Lashar. Hearthstone Hall was renamed Bellarmine Hall when the Jesuits purchased it from the Town of Fairfield in 1941 and it now houses the Office of the President and other university administrative offices.

Notes

The book is divided into two parts. Part I: The Architectural Features - Walls, Ceilings, Fireplaces, Oriental Rugs, Etc., and Part II: Furniture, Draperies and Furniture Coverings. The exact date of this publication is unknown, but necessarily falls somewhere between 1926 and 1942. Includes illustrations.
