Description

Photographs taken by the Hayden Company of the interiors of Hearthstone Hall, now Bellarmine Hall. These photographs are of the original interiors of the residence of Mr. & Mrs. Walter B. Lashar, Esq., before it was converted to a Jesuit residence. Please note: the book consists of 22 black and white photographs; all other pages are blank. There is no text associated with any of the photographs.

Notes

Hearthstone Hall was purchased by Jesuits from the Town of Fairfield in 1941. Renamed Bellarmine Hall, it first served as the Jesuit residence on campus and more recently houses the Office of the President and other university administrative offices.
